Prose Poems written in response to Madelon Vriesendorp’s series of paintings under the name Manhattan. The poems narrate the paintings Flagrant Delit, Freud Unlimited, and A Casa - they can be read as a play in three parts. The poems were first writte as part of my participation in Richmond’s Critical Arts Writing program during winter of 2018. Images provided for reference.
